Learn CMMC the right way — and get organized fast.

CMMC readiness isn’t just “having policies.” It’s scoping the right systems, implementing required practices, and maintaining evidence that supports how you actually operate. This page is a quick learning hub that points you to Federal Bid Partners’ services and tools.

This site is informational and does not provide legal advice. Requirements vary by contract language, flowdowns, data types, and program updates. Always follow current official guidance and your solicitation/contract requirements.

Level 1 vs Level 2

What contractors should understand early

CMMC Level 1 (overview)

Level 1 focuses on foundational safeguarding practices. Many teams succeed by defining scope, ensuring access controls are correct, and keeping straightforward evidence that supports each practice.

  • Common gaps: MFA coverage, user/account lifecycle, device governance, basic access rules.
  • Success pattern: align “what you do” with “what you can prove.”

CMMC Level 2 (overview)

Level 2 typically requires deeper implementation and stronger documentation discipline. The work becomes manageable when you treat it as a system: requirements → processes → evidence → remediation → repeatable maintenance.

  • Common gaps: incident response maturity, audit logging depth, configuration management, supplier controls.
  • Evidence should be current, labeled, and consistently maintained—not “one-time.”

Registered Practitioner-led support

Federal Bid Partners’ CMMC readiness support is guided by a team member who holds a CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP) credential, supporting contractor readiness planning for Level 1 and Level 2. This is consulting support—not a government determination, not legal advice, and not a guarantee of certification or award outcome.

Badge shown to identify an individual credential and does not imply endorsement by the U.S. Department of Defense or The Cyber AB. Display only if the credential is current and authorized for use.
